AS A BULLDOG:
2015 - Provided the UMD pitching staff with support and additional depth ... made seven appearances last season -- her first with the Bulldogs -- and went 1-0 with a 3.23 earned run average .... picked up her lone win to date while coming out of the bullpen against at Northern State on April 21(6-5 in eight innings) ... posted a career-high six strikeouts in three innings of work against the Wolves that day.

BEFORE UMD: Attended UMD during the 2013-14  school year but did not compete in softball … is a 2013 graduate of Fergus Falls High School … was a member of the Otters varsity for four seasons and took over as the team’s starting pitcher as a junior … captained Fergus Falls High School during her final prep season … competed in the Minnesota State Class AA Tournament in both 2011 and 2013 … tossed a one-hitter against Pipestone High School at the 2011 event.
 
PERSONAL: Born Sadie Lynn Knudson on September 16, 1994 in Dallas, Texas … is the daughter of Cary and Kari Knudson … has four other siblings (Kelsey, Kayla, Cole and twin sister Samantha, a junior pitcher/utility player at the University of Minnesota-Crookston) … is majoring in international studies at UMD.
