BEFORE UMD: Is a graduate of Waconia High School … played five years under coach Audra Lehrke cementing the shortstop position during her prep career... is a two-time All-Wright County Conference selection ... secured all-state honorable mention status and was voted the Wildcats' Most Valuable Player following her sophomore season ... was presented with both the team's Golden Glove and Golden Bat awards that last spring ... served as the Wildcats' team captain in her senior outing... also competed for one year in basketball and cross country at Waconia High School.
