AS A BULLDOG: 
2018 - Dependable everyday production from the corner outfield ... started in 57 games and made 44 of those starts in left field after transitioning from right field ... posted her best season at the plate with individual season marks in batting average (.350), runs (37), RBI (32), hits (55), walks (20), on-base (.425) and slugging percentage (.446) ... posted the most hits and batting average by any returner ... tallied 14 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI games ... produced in the clutch, hitting .356 with runners in scoring position and .769 with the bases loaded ... fired a team-leading seven outfield assists ... had the most stolen bases on the team without getting caught (8-for-8) for the second consecutive season.
2017 - Improved on her promising rookie season in the box and in the field ... started in 54 of the 55 games ... she raised her batting average 69 points from last year to .303 ... produced 13 extra-base hits and 23 RBIs ... led all batters with runners on base (.377) ... was a part of the fielding crew that notched the program single-season record for fielding percentage (.974) in school history ... tallied eight outfield assists, the most by any outfielder, and was a part of three double plays from her right field spot ... had the most stolen bases on the team without getting caught (8-for-8).
2016 - Was a promising addition to the UMD outfield corps ... wound up making 26 starts while seeing field time in 40 of 52 games ... hit at a .234 clip ... had one multi-hit night to her rookie year credit -- went 3-for-4 in an 8-7 NSIC home triumph over Augustana on April 17.

BEFORE UMD: Is a 2015 graduate of Maple Grove High School ... started three seasons (center fielder and pitcher) for Crimson clubs that placed second (2014), third (2015) and fourth (2013) at the Minnesota State High School Class AAA Tournament ... attained State All-Tournament Team honors in 2014 ... capped off her prep career in 2015 with a third straight selection to the All-Northwest Suburban Conference Team  ... also was an All-State and All-Section honoree.

PERSONAL: Born Samantha Nicole Sadler in Kankakee, Ill. ... is the daughter of Steve and Marci Sadler ... has one older sister (Cayli, who closed out her UMD softball career as the program's all-time leader in pitching victories and appearances) ... is majoring in mechanical engineering at UMD.
