Haili Wimer joins UMD in the fall of 2024 as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Sioux Falls and Master of Arts in Kinesiology and Sports Management from the University of South Dakota.

Currently a member of the South Dakota Army National Guard, Wimer began her career as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, working closely with track and field programs at Sanford POWER, Avera Human Performance, and at the University of South Dakota. She would go on to serve as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University of South Dakota and Florida International University before her role as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at St. Mary’s Central High School during the first half of 2024.

Wimer is a certified strength and conditioning specialist under the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as well as CPR and AED certified.
