Alison Bouman

After a successful professional playing career that spanned across seven different countries, Allison Bouman has joined the Bulldog coaching staff on a volunteer basis during the 2018-19 season. Bouman will be lending her skill set and passing her knowledge onto the post players.

Before moving back to the United States, Bouman spent time coaching in Albury and Sydney, Australia where she worked at the Lauren Jackson camp and worked privately with college players.

In 2014, Bouman graduated from Davenport University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She spent three years at Davenport after transferring from Wayne State University her freshman year. As a starter, the Panthers were National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics National Runner-Ups in 2012-13 and in the Fab Four (Final Four) in 2013-14. Bouman was named Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference honorable mention with 12.0 points and 7.1 rebounds her senior season. She was also a two-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-WHAC member.

Bouman was a three-time all-conference player for the Squires and led Calvin Christian to a 55-17 record in her three seasons on the varsity squad. She set the school record for blocks and was named to the Associated Press All-State Honorable Mention team and Detroit Free Press Fourth-Team All-State as a senior where she averaged 14.2 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game.
