Reese Jansen signed on with the UMD women's basketball program in 2019-20 as an intern assistant coach.
Jansen was a four-year starting point guard at Eden Valley-Watkins High School and scored just over 1,2000 points during his Eagle career. He also earned All-Central Minnesota Conference basketball as a sophomore, junior and senior. In addition, Jansen lettered in both football (quarterback) and baseball (center fielder) with the Eagles.
A registered Minnesota State High School League basketball official, Jansen is the son of Tom Jansen, who coached current Bulldog head coach Mandy Pearson while she attended Eden Valley-Watkins High School.
Jansen is currently pursuing a B.A. Degree in marketing at the College of St. Scholastica and will be graduating in May 2020.
