BULLDOG CAREER
2011-12 (As a Sophomore) – Avoided the dreaded sophomore slump after being named the most NSIC’s most outstanding rookie in her first collegiate season … finished in the top 10 in the NSIC scoring race on a team-leading average of 14.4 points per game … ranked fourth in the conference in rebounding (8.1 board per outing, also a team-best) … crashed the glass on offense better than anyone in the NSIC, raking in 3.29 offensive rebounds per game … paced UMD in scoring on 13 occasions, including when she went off for a career-high 30 points in a Jan. 3 win over Bemidji State … shot 44 percent (156-351) from the field and attempted 121 free throw attempts, a figure topped by just one Bulldog … frequently protected the paint for a UMD defense that held opponents to a meager 58.7 points per game (third-best in the NSIC) … racked up more fouls (75) than any other Bulldog.
2009-10 (As a Freshman) – Appeared in all 27 games, starting 19 as an immediate impact freshman... took on a post role, scoring 301 points while shooting .472 from the field, averaging 27.4 minutes per night... led the team in scoring five times, including a 22-point outburst against Southwest Minnesota State on Feb. 19... averaged 11.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game en route to earning the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Freshman of the Year honors.
BEFORE UMD
Is a 2010 graduate of Barnum High School, where she starred for five seasons under head coach Randy Mhyre, the last four as a starter ... captained the Bombers her sophomore, junior and senior seasons and was a two-time Polar League MVP ... selected to the All-Class A Minnesota State Basketball tournament team on three occasions ... highly regarded as one of the top players in the state her senior year, she finished as a top five finalist for the prestigious Miss Basketball award ... selected as the All-Area Player of the Year in the Twin Ports by the Duluth News Tribune ... lettered five times in volleyball and was an All-State selection as a senior in 2009 ... earned four letters in softball and helped her Barnum team reach the state tournament as a senior en route to sharing the Duluth News Tribune’s All-Area Player of the Year honors with then-Hermantown senior Megan Mullen -- currently a member of the Bulldogs softball team.
