BULLDOG CAREER:
2020-21 (Junior): Saw the floor in six games during her junior season, recording 10 minutes of playing time. Miller totaled four points on two field goals, shot 40% from thee field and grabbed two rebounds during her playing time.Â
2019-20 (Sophomore): Miller saw time in seven games in her sophomore campaign, seeing 16 minutes on the floor. despite seeing less time than the previous year, she produced more on the offensive side of the ball, averaging 1.1 points per game (up from .1 from the previous year). Miller also nabbed a steal along with two assists and six rebounds. She dropped three field goals on the year and shot .429 from the floor.
2018-19 (Freshman): Received playing time in 15 games • averaged 2.7 minutes in those 15 outings and tallied a season high five minutes against Minot State on Jan. 15 • registered her first collegiate points against Bemidji State on Jan. 4 • ended the season with 4 blocks, 1 steal and 1 rebound.
BEFORE UMD: A 2018 graduate of Zumbrota-Mazeppa High School • starred for the Cougars and head coach Andy Bromelling since her freshman campaign • an injury spoiled her junior year but rebounded to claim MSHSL Class AA All-State Honorable Mention • a three-year captain that set the single-season and career shot blocking marks at ZMHS as a sophomore • a three-time Hiawatha Valley League All-Conference selection and three-time Red Wing Republican Eagle All-Area • also suited up for the Cougars in volleyball and track.
PERSONAL: Born Lauren Marie Miller in Zumbrota, Minn. • daughter of Eric and Verone Miller • has twin brothers (Aaron and Ethan) • an 'A' honor roll student at ZMHS while being involved in National Honor Society, the student council, SADD, FLCCA, the yearbook staff, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and symphonic band • plans to major in exercise science at UMD.
