BULLDOG CAREER:
2017-18 (Freshman) Received playing time in 10 games as a backup situational guard in her first season • tallied a season high seven minutes three times • highly efficient at shooting when presented the opportunity • went 6-for-8 from the floor and 3-for-5 from long distance • registered her first collegiate points in the season opener versus Wisconsin-Parkside • scored a season and career high eight points against Lake Superior State • ended with 17 points, four rebounds, four assists and a pair of steals.  

BEFORE UMD: A 2017 graduate of New Prague High School • earned All-Wright County Conference honors following the 2014-15 season • went to the Class AAA State tournament in 2015 •  was named to the Class AAA All-State first team and Pat Patterson All-Tournament team • five-year starter for the Trojans, netting over 1,000 career points • elected team captain for her junior and senior seasons • recognized as the Star Tribune Player of the Week on two occasions in 2014 and 2015 • participated in track and field, a state participant as well, and holds the school record in the 4x800 meter relay.

PERSONAL: Born Maizie Nel Deihl in New Prague, Minn. • is the daughter of Kiffin and Lori Deihl • has one older sister Emma • awarded the Triple "A" Award and ExCEL Award at New Prague • was a part of the student council, National Honor Society, concert choir, show choir, as well as a member of the musical production at New Prague • is planning to major is exercise science at UMD.
