Is a 2012 graduate of Houghton High School (Mich.) ...  played four years as a Gremlin under Coach Julie Filpus, starting three years as a guard ... named team MVP as a junior, earning first-team All-West Pac Conference and second-team All-Upper Peninsula selections ... took down team MVP honors for a second straight season her senior year, landing first team all-conference acclaim, a first team all-state selection and being named to the All-Upper Penninsula Dream Team ... selected to the All-State fourth team, and led the Gremlins in several categories across the box score (scoring, assists and steals) ... finished her final prep campaign as one of the top 25 free throw shooters in Michigan.
