BULLDOG CAREER:
2018-19 (Junior) Appeared in 26 games, averaging 11.7 minutes per game • gathered 77 total points, 41 rebounds, 21 assists and 15 steals • tallied a season high eight points against Winona State on Feb. 1 • was 29-for-74 from the field and made eight of 15 attempted free throws
2017-18 (Sophomore) The pivotal contributor off the bench and sixth woman • recorded collegiate bests in points (16 vs. Minot State), rebounds (four vs. Northern Michigan and Minnesota State), assists (four vs. Minot State) and steals (six vs. Upper Iowa) • come off the bench in all 27 games and averaged 15.5 minutes • was the leading bench scorer collecting 5.5 points per contest • was 56-for-133 and 21-for-56 behind the arc • those marks were second in shooting percentage (42.1) and third in three-point percentage (37.5) • able to record double figures five times • knocked down at least one three-point field goal in the last five games.
2016-17 (Freshman) Was one of the Bulldogs featured bench players, seeing time in 21 games and averaged 11 minutes off the bench • averaged 2.3 points as a first-year player • recorded seven points in the opening round of the NSIC Tournament against Minnesota State Mankato on Feb 22 • swiped three steals vs. Northern State on Feb 17 • saw 25 minutes of playing time in that game against the Wolves • went 3-of-4 at the free throw line twice in the season and finished 10-for-16 at the line overall • scored her first collegiate points in her collegiate debut at home against Michigan Tech on Nov. 12.
BEFORE UMD: A 2016 graduate of Turtle Lake High School • started for four seasons for the Lakes and Coach Neil Bygd • named First Team All-Lakeland West Conference during each of her four seasons • voted team MVP four times while serving as a captain during her junior and senior campaigns • notched 1000 career points in just her junior season • also played volleyball as an all-conference outside hitter and softball as an all-conference shortstop.
PERSONAL: Born Taylor Rose Schneider in Barron, Wis. • daughter of Amy and Joel Schneider • one of two siblings (Carson) • while at Turtle Lake, participated in National Honor Society, Student Council, Drama Club, and Choir • will major in marketing at UMD.
