Why I Chose UMD: The fantastic Civil Engineering Department and running program, also some of the best views of Lake Superior.
Influences On My Athletic Career: My parents have always been my biggest motivators, especially having my dad as a high school track coach.
Favorite College Course: Hydraulics and Hydrology
What Most People Don't Know About Me: I was a gold medalist in State Forensics for play acting in high school.
Most Memorable UMD Athletic Moment: Running with my team at the National Championships in Florida.
Pre-Meet Ritual or Superstition: Must have coffee and my usual pre-race breakfast before any race.

High School Highlights: member of 3 Team State Cross Country Champion titles, Member of State Champion 4x800m relay freshman year, 4x state qualifier 3200 meters, 3x state qualifier 1600 meters, Individual cross country champion junior year and team won all 4 years
