BEFORE UMD:  
Was a member of the USA Hockey Girls' 16/17 Players Development Camp in both 2018 and 2017, and prior to that, the Girls' 15 Development Camp in 2016 ... as a senior, led her team with 33 goals and 30 assists for 63 points in 28 games ... named an East Metro Girl Hockey Player of the Year of the Year finalist for her efforts, as well as to the Star Tribune All-Metro Second Team and All-State honors ...  a three-time SEC All-Conference honoree (2017-20) and Rookie of the Year in 2015-16, she was also named the team's offensive MVP in 2020 ...a five-year high school letter-winner for Forest Lake High School, and a three-time Spotlight on Scholarship honoree.

Born Brieja Madine Parent on November 9, 2001 in Stillwater, Minnesota ... is the daughter of Troy and Amy Parent ... has one younger brother (Cullen) ... is a 2020 graduate of Forest Lake High School ... is a major in biochemistry at UMD.
