Alyssa Irby is in her second year as a Resident Athletic Trainer at the University of Minnesota Duluth.  She earned her Bachelors degree in Sociology and Spanish from the University of Denver in 2015 and received her Master of Arts degree in Athletic Training from the University of Nebraska - Omaha in 2019. Irby grew up in Dallas, Texas, but has let athletic training take her around the world, including to Orlando as a summer intern with the professional women's soccer team,The Orlando Pride, and to Nicaragua to work with local soccer players and coaches.

Alyssa is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association and she is a preceptor for the College of St. Scholastica Athletic Training Program. Alyssa assists in providing care to the Women’s Hockey team.
