Jason Aldrich is in his second year as the strength and conditioning coach for the UMD men's and women's hockey programs. He spent the 2017-18 season with the American Hockey League's Iowa Wild handling a duo role -- strength coach and equipment manager. From 2012-17, Aldrich held that same position with the Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League and previously was a graduate assistant at Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning.
Aldrich, whose father Mike has been the equipment manager for the National Hockey League's San Jose Sharks the past two-plus decades, played collegiately for Finlandia University (NCAA Division III) in his hometown of Hancock, Mich. and graduated from that institution in 2011 with a B.A. Degree in sports management. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
