Favorite Track Meet: Drake Relays – a crazy environment of fans and competition
Why I Chose UMD: I switched my major from Nursing to Chemical Engineering and knew this place was for me as soon as I went on the tour. The campus was the perfect size and the track program was exactly what I was looking for!
Influences On My Athletic Career: My amazing coaches in high school: Raedi Zimmer, Shani Johnson, and Steve Luzum, who helped me achieve what I never thought was possible. Brita Dawson, who was an incredible teammate throughout high school. Coach Rock at Bethel University who is my idol and was always there for me, my teammates at Bethel University who made every day a joy, and the friends and family who have supported me along the way.
Favorite College Course: Ceramics!
What Most People Don't Know About Me: I can ride a unicycle
Most Memorable Athletic Moment: Long jumping at Point Loma Nazarene University- the track was right on the ocean and it was beautiful weather.
