Biography

Before UMD: Competed for St. Francis HS cross country and track teams.. was a four time All-Conference winner, state participant, and team MVP for cross country.. for track she was four time All-Conference winner, two time state participant in the 3200 meters and 1600 meters, and one time state participant in the 800 meters. 

Personal: Was born Kayla Faye Johnson on March 11, 1992 in Coon Rapids, Minn...is the daughter of Ross and Charlene Johnson and has two siblings, Briana and Elsie.
