GETTING TO KNOW NATALIE PELLER:
Why I Chose UMD: I’ve lived in Duluth my whole life and I love it here. Ever since I was little I knew I wanted to further my education at UMD. I cannot imagine living any place else or running for a better city than Duluth.
Influences On My Athletic Career: My parents have had the most influence on my track career. They both attended UMD and ran on the track team. I’m so excited to follow in their footsteps. My mom was also my high school track coach and helped me train and become better.
What Most People Don't Know About Me: I used to fence and play hockey.
Pre-Meet Ritual or Superstition: I have to rub my spikes 2 times each before I race, because if I don’t I won’t run fast.
Favorite Professional Athlete: Simone Biles  
Sport I'd Like to Try Someday: Volleyball

Years Lettered/Competed with Varsity: Freshman-Senior Year, all 4 years
High School Highlights: Track letter award winner, Team’s Rookie of the Year 2014, Team’s Most Dedicated 2017. Captain of track team 2017. State qualifier in 4x4. 3 time letter winner in soccer.
