Biography

2014-15:  Scored a game-winning goal against St. Cloud State on Jan. 17, 2014 ... skated in 31 games and recorded 16 shots on goal.

2013-14: Played in all 36 games ... netted her lone collegiate goal in just her second skate as a Bulldog on Oct. 5, 2013 against Connecticut.

BEFORE UMD:  Becomes the first Arizona native to skate for the Bulldogs … spent the 2012-13 season competing at the U-19 level with the Dallas Stars, leading the team with 42 points in 32 games ... racked up 40 goals and 39 assists skating for the Colorado Select team prior to playing for Dallas ... won the 2011 Liz Turgeon Award within the Select organzation.

PERSONAL:  Born Katherine Rebecca McGovern on Nov. 29, 1994 in Scottsdale, Arizona ... daughter of Scott and Alicia McGovern ... has an older sister (Kelly) and brother (Ed) ... was a 2013 graduate of Horizon High School ... is an exercise science major at UMD.
