Dylon Field is entering his second stint with UMD athletics and serves as the Director of Bulldog Productions. Field is responsible for live streaming, broadcasts, social media strategy, creating videos and graphics for YouTube as well as for the video boards at Malosky Stadium, AMSOIL Arena and inside Romano Gym.
 

Prior to returning to Bulldog Country, Field spent two years in a similar role with USA Hockey's National Team Development Program & USA Hockey Arena. He broadcast Team USA's home games on regional TV, HockeyTV, along with the in-venue videoboards. Field also worked on creative social media content including highlights, Beyond the Stars & Stripes and many more. Before joining USA Hockey, he spent a year at Elon University where he was the director of video production for athletics. He worked with the School of Communications & Teaching and Learning Technologies in overseeing a team of 40+ students producing Elon Athletic Events live on FloSports. Other duties included videoboard graphic creation/ management, creative video, features, and game streams.

Before his time at Elon, he spent just over a year as the Bulldog Productions Intern at UMD, and ran the videoboard & broadcasts for three Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Tournaments. He also worked on installing a brand new on-campus centralized video production control room. 


Field earned his B.A. degree in Sports Communication from Upper Iowa University in 2018.  While at UIU, he volunteered for four years in the sports information office, helping maintain the Peacocks' social media platforms creating videos, graphics and serving as the Producer for the 2018 NCAA Division II Wrestling National Championships. On game days he would assist with live stream set-up, facility set-up/ tear down, producing the in-venue Football show, while also doing play-by-play for soccer and the public address announcer for all other sports.
