Jalen Bethany joined the Bulldogs staff in January of 2025 after serving as a coach for the Explosion Flight Academy, where he directed both offensive and defensive schemes for 7-on-7 travel football teams for the ages of 14-18. Since December 2020, Bethany has also served as a personal trainer for youth football players through SWHET, an online service that provides current and former collegiate athletes with the opportunity to sell private lessons, clinics, and camps to other athletes. 

As a player, Bethany was a wide receiver for Division I FCS Lindenwood University, seeing action in 18 total games. During the 2022 season, Bethany collected 23 catches for 239 total yards and one touchdown. A native of St. Louis, Mo., Bethany holds a Bachelor's in Psychology from Lindenwood University.
