Pavlich has started each game for the Bulldogs in 2003-04. She is second on the team scoring at 9.5 points per game, fourth on the team pulling in 3.9 rebounds per game, she leads the team with 37 steals and has made a team-best 29 three-pointers this season.

The NSIC Player of Week Award is the first of the year for Pavlich and the second of the season for a UMD player. Sophomore Lindsey Dietz was honored with the award Nov. 24th.

Pavlich shares the award this week with Northern State University senior guard Carin Rambow.

UMD's weekend sweep improved the team's record to 11-7 overall and 4-4 in the NSIC. Saturday's win helped to move the Bulldogs into a tie for fourth place in the conference standings with Bemidji State.

UMD will be back in action this weekend when it hits the road for a pair of important NSIC match-ups. The Bulldogs travel to third place Winona State University (13-6, 5-3 NSIC) Thursday for a 6:00 p.m. tip-off. Saturday the team locks up with league-leading Concordia University-St. Paul (16-2, 6-1 NSIC).
