The University of Minnesota Duluth women's basketball team landed five players on the 2005-2006 NCC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll that was named Wednesday. Student athletes must have at least a minimum 3.2 GPA, two semesters completed at their current school and have competed against outside competition.
Seniors
Lindsey Dietz (Elk River, Minn.), a Mathematics and Psychology major and
Megan O'Hern (North Branch, Minn.), a Biology major head the list of five Bulldogs who were honored. Junior
Katie Winkelman (Morris, Minn.), a Elementary/Middle School Education major, and sophomore
Alissa Pauly, (Shakopee, Minn.) join the two seniors, while redshirt freshman
Kellie Kavanagh (Rosemount, Minn.), a Communications major, rounds out the the group of five.
This year marks the first year that the NCC has released a NCC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
