The University of Minnesota Duluth men's track team competed in the annual Snowshoe Open on the University of Minnesota campus Friday night.
Even though it was just the men competing, there were still a handful of stellar performances. The UMD 4x400 meter relay team garnered yet another first place spot with a time of 3:24.30. In the 60 meter hurdles sophomore
Forrest Randall set a new school record with a time of 8.27 just three hundreths off a national provisional mark to place second. In the field events freshmen
Curt Henneman and
Jim Warmuth finished in the fifth and sixth spot respectively with marks of 43-1 and 41-5.
The women will take to the field house tomorrow (Sat. 2/17) for the Parent's Day Open. Events are scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m. at the University of Minnesota Field House.
