BULLDOG SPOTLIGHT: MacGREGOR SHARP

When it comes to playing time, MacGregor Sharp certainly has gotten his money's worth during his four-year puck career at the University of Minnesota Duluth.

The soft spoken senior center has been a fixture in the UMD lineup for all but one of 139 games since the opening of the 2005-06 season -- including the last 96 in a row (his lone absence came on on Oct. 27, 2006 when a head injury forced him to sit out a home outing with Denver). This winter, Sharp is enjoying his most productive season offfensively as a Bulldog and currently ranks second on the club in goals (a career-high 11), assists (13) and points (24) while putting more shots on net (86) than any other UMD skater. This past Saturday, Sharp figured in on three of UMD's four goals as the Bulldogs upended Bemidji State University 4-2 to run their WCHA-best home record to 7-1-3.
