The 2008 football season was certainly one for the books -- the record books that is -- for the University of Minnesota Duluth.
En route to going a perfect 15-0 and capturing their first-ever NCAA Division II championship, the Bulldogs shattered or equalled some 50 individual and team single-game, single-season and career marks. Inflicting the majority of damage to the Bulldog record book was senior All-American quarterback Ted Schlafke, who exited the UMD program owning every passing and total offense standard.
