BULLDOGS HAND CENTRAL MISSOURI FIRST LOSS, IMPROVE TO 3-1

The University of Minnesota Duluth wrapped up the University of Central Missouri Tournament with a 63-53 win over the host Jennies Saturday evening in Warrensburg, Mo. The Bulldogs have now won three consecutive games, including both of this weekend's tournament outings.

Senior forward Jheri Booker paced UMD's offense with 25 points. The Summerville, Ga., native added a team-high 16 rebounds for her second double-double in four games this season. Booker was the only Bulldog to register double-digit totals in either category.

UMD improves to 3-1 overall with the non-conference win. It was the first loss of the season for the Jennies, who fall to 2-1.

The Bulldogs return to the Romano Gymnasium hardwood next Tuesday (Nov. 24) when they will host Northern Michigan University. The opening tip is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
