Sophomore Morgan Place did the University of Minnesota Duluth's  only scoring at the 2010 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships as the returning All-American took eighth in the 5,000-meter run Saturday afternoon in Albuquerque, N.M.

Place, who finished with a time of 17:28.72, also was part of the Bulldogs' distance medley relay team which placed 10th in Friday's finals. She was joined by junior Carrie Wardell,  junior Michelle SanCartier, and sophomore Maggie Demulling.

The other Bulldog in Albuquerque, junior Elizabeth Crane was 12th in the shot put Saturday with a toss of 42'-11".
