BULLDOG SPOTLIGHT: NOAH PAULEY

Noah Pauley might not be too certain about his post-college plans (see below), but the same can't be said about his immediate football future. The University of Minnesota Duluth senior wide receiver knows exactly what his wants to do in that regard -- make a return this December to Florence, Ala., where two years ago he and his Bulldog mates walked off with the NCAA Division II Championship trophy.

Pauley, who started in that 2008 title game against Northwest Missouri State University, has been a fixture with the UMD pass catching brigade since first hitting the field as a true freshman in 2007. The Duluth Central High School alumnus needs just nine more receiving yards to reach the 1,000-yard career and 15 catches to hit the century mark.

As for the designs of getting another shot at the NCAA II crown? Although there is still plenty of football to be played, it's so far, so good for Pauley and company as they are off to a 3-0 overall start this fall and hold down the No. 1 spot in this week's D2Football.com  Poll.
