Jennifer Smith had three shots in the second overtime session, including the game-winning goal for the University of Minnesota Duluth as it defeated Concordia University, St. Paul 2-1 on Friday evening.
The Bulldogs (10-2-0, 9-1-0 NSIC) improved to 2-0 in overtime matches as they slipped past the Golden Bears (4-9-0, 3-7-0 NSIC) in the 105th minute.

UMD will receive a day of rest Saturday before hitting the road for another tough NSIC match-up as they take on No. 3 Minnesota State University Mankato. That match is set for a 1:00 p.m. kick-off on Sunday.
