Box Score The University of Minnesota volleyball team earned head coach
Jim Boos career victory number 310 on Tuesday night, tying him for most in a volleyball coaching career at UMD with his predecessor Pati Rolf. The Bulldogs defeated St. Cloud State in a three-set sweep at Romano Gym.

UMD (12-0, 3-0 NSIC) looked dominant again, winning the first two sets 25-13 and 25-11. St. Cloud State battled tough in the third set, forcing three tie scores in the frame before UMD pulled away late to win 25-20. Senior outside hitter
Kate Lange cracked the top five for career kills at UMD, surpassing Becky Hoffman's 1,641. She now sits at 1,646 for her career with a 15 kill performance, adding nine digs as well. With a dominant seven-kill second set performance, freshman middle blocker
Sydnie Mauch finished with ten kills in the match as well as four block-assists. Sophomore setter
Ashley Hinsch collected 40 assists as well as eight digs of her own. Junior libero
Julie Rainey led UMD defensively with 14 digs, with junior outside hitter
Mariah Scharf adding three blocks.
The top-ranked Bulldogs hit the road again this weekend for a match-up against No. 2 Concordia-St. Paul. Highly-ranked NSIC teams have a history of knocking each other from the number one spot, and UMD will look to break that trend when they hit the court at the Ganglehoff Center in St. Paul this Friday. Opening serve is set for 7:00 p.m.
