No team in the country has been on the power play more this season than the University of Minnesota Duluth and only one club has spent more time killing penalties. That has meant plenty of extra shifts for minute munchers like junior defenseman
Andy Welinski. The Duluth native and Anaheim Ducks draftee has certainly made the most of that additional ice exposure and will enter this weekend's series at the University of Nebraska-Omaha ranking third nationally in plus-minus rating (+12) while racking up four goals and four assists for eight points. Welinski, who has skated in all 86 games since joining the Bulldog program two years ago, is also one of just five NCAA I blueliners with a shorthanded goal to his 2014-15 credit.
