One day after scolding St. Cloud State University 6-1, the University of Minnesota Duluth women's hockey team earned their third-consecutive series sweep with a 1-0 win over the Huskies in St. Cloud, Minn. Saturday afternoon. Â The triumph extends the Bulldogs' current winning streak to seven games, the most by a UMD squad since the 2010-2011 season. Â The win also secures third place in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association for the Bulldogs.

Ashleigh Brykaliuk, who both extended their scoring streaks with the helper. Â Brykaliuk has now compiled five goals and six assists for 11 points in that six-game span, while McParland has recorded three goals and four assists in her last five skaters.
UMD outshot the SCSU 29-18, and junior goaltender
Kayla Black picked up her 13th career shutout and her fourth of the season after her 18 save performance.
The Bulldogs (8-4-2, 5-4-1 in the WCHA) will step out of league play next weekend to host Cornell at AMSOIL Arena next weekend. Â Friday's game will start at 4:07 p.m. because of the City of the North Parade, Â while Saturday's games are set for 6:07 p.m.
