The University of Minnesota Duluth has seen inconsistent results in its return to Duluth, posting a 3-3 record to start its 10-game homestand at Wade Stadium, but this weekend when the Bulldogs host Winona State University in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference four-game series, UMD will return to its home turf on campus at Bulldog Park for day one's doubleheader.
The Bulldogs (14-10, 8-6 NSIC) scored 27 runs, but split a conference doubleheader against Southwest Minnesota State University on Wednesday afternoon at the Wade, temperatures hovering above the freezing mark through the afternoon, but sunshine is in the forecast as UMD finally returns to campus on Saturday afternoon.
