The University of Minnesota Duluth announced late Monday night that the team's scheduled non-conference doubleheader against Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference foe Upper Iowa University has been cancelled due to forecasted snow and rain on Wednesday in Duluth. There will be no make-up as both teams enter the heart of the conference campaign.

The Bulldogs will now open their home season in NSIC play this weekend as the team hosts the University of Sioux Falls at Wade Stadium, weather permitting. First pitch is set for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
