The University of Minnesota Duluth wrapped up the 2016-17 regular season by falling 75-58 to No. 12 Minnesota State University-Moorhead Saturday afternoon at Romano Gymnasium.

Allyson Harris would be responsible for six points on 3-of-5 shooting. The Dragons then would fight back to take a 31-30 lead into halftime. After going 3-of-6 from beyond the arc in the second quarter(4-of-11 in the first half), UMD would finish out the game shooting just 1-of-10 from three-point territory. Senior forward

Anna Monke would finish tied for a team-high 11 points each. The duo would shoot a combined 11-of-13 (84.6 percent) and eight rebounds
Junior guard Cassidy Thorson paced the Dragons (23-3; 20-2 NSIC) with 24 points and also had a game-high seven rebounds.Â
The Bulldogs will remain at home to face Minnesota State University-Mankato Wednesday night in the opening round of the NSIC Tournament. UMD last hosted an NSIC postseason game in 2012.
