The University of Minnesota Duluth tuned up for next weekend's Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships by competing in Friday's Snowshoe Open on the University of Minnesota campus.
UMD's top finishes -- all third place -- came in the 400-meter dash (senior
Austin Carlson in 51.29), 3,000-meter run (senior
Cody Sedbrook in 8:44.92), 60-meter hurdles (senior
Logan Rubeck in 8.72) and triple jump (sophomore
Jake Carlson with a leap of 38'-04.00").

In addition, senior
Josh Peterson was fourth in the mile run (4:18.33).
The 2018 NSIC indoors are scheduled for Friday and Saturday (Feb. 23-24) in Mankato, Minn.
