The University of Minnesota Duluth all but ran the table at Saturday's 11th annual Lake Superior Challenge, which was hosted by the College of St. Scholastica.
The Bulldogs won 12 events (including pair of relay races) with junior
Danielle Kohlwey figuring in on four of those. In addition to placing first in the 60-meter (7.72) and 200-meter (25.26) dashes, Kohlwey also ran a leg on the winning 4 x 200 meter (1:44.21) and 4 x 400 meter (4:02.43) relay units. Other UMD first-place finishes were posted by senior
Rachelle LeBlanc in the pole vault (11'-01.75), juniors
Michaela Hesse in the 400-meter dash (58.79) and
Bariture Igboh in the weight throw (51'-07.25) and freshmen
Isabelle Brezinka in the 600-meter dash (1:41.43),
Hanna Frekot in the long jump (17'-01.50),
Lindsay Maruska in the triple jump (36'-04.00),
Rhianna Rinke in the 800-meter run (2:19.19) and
Maria Versaguis in the 60-meter hurdles (9.27). Junior

Kendra Monpas and senior
Erica Kesseh joined Kohlwey in the 4 x 200 meter relay race while Stalboerger, Hesse, and sophomore
Paige DuBois did likewise in the 4 x 400 meter relay event.
 UMD will be in Brookings, S.D. next Friday and Saturday (Feb. 9-10) for the South Dakota State Indoor Classic while a select number of Bulldogs are slated to compete in the University of Wisconsin-Superior's Yellowjacket Open on Saturday.
