Fresh off a weekend home sweep of Colorado College, the University of Minnesota Duluth inched up one spot to No. 8 in this week's USCHO.com Poll.

Minnesota State University-Mankato, which will pay a visit to AMSOIL Arena this Friday and Saturday night for a pair of non-conference bouts with the Bulldogs, remained in the top position for the third consecutive week, collecting 39 of a possible 50 first-place votes and 988 points. The Mavericks were followed by Cornell University (the remaining 11 first-place votes and 954 pts.), the University of North Dakota (890 pts.), the University of Denver (770 pts.), the University of Notre Dame (728 pts.), Clarkson University (708 pts.), Penn State University (696 pts.) UMD 665 pts.), Harvard University (649 pts.) and the University of Massachuesetts (630 pts.)

The Bulldogs (7-4-1 overall) join North Dakota (No. 3), Denver (No. 4), Western Michigan University (No. 17) and the University of Nebraska-Omaha (No. 18) as the five National Collegiate Hockey Conference clubs listed in this week's USCHO.com Poll.

UMD has now has cracked every USCHO.com Top 20 Poll since March 7, 2016 and hasn't been ranked lower than No. 9 since March 26, 2018).
