Danielle Kohlwey has been selected the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week -- the second straight time she has been so honored -- following her performance at last Saturday's Lady Bear Twilight meet in St. Paul, Minn.
Kohlwey, an All-American team captain out of Onalaska, Wis., placed first in the 100-meter hurdles with an NCAA Divison II auto-qualifying time of 13.48. That's the fastest clocking in the nation at the moment. Kohlwey also placed second in the 400-meter hurdles (1:03.22) and anchored the 4 x 100 relay team which took first (48:62).
