The University of Minnesota Duluth produced nine individual champions and two title-winning relay teams at the University of Wisconsin-Superior's Twin Ports Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Those winners included senior
Jake Kluver in the mile run (4:35.60), juniors
Cole Lebourgeois in the 1,000-meter run (2:42.72) and
Austin Have in the 200-meter hurdles (26.28) and sophomores
Jack Thompson in the high jump (6'-02.75'),
Shea Alto in the pole vault (13'-11.25"),Â
Ben Palmquist in the 60-meter hurdles (8.95),
Avery Hunt in the triple jump (39'-02.50"),
Zach Skelton in the shot put (42'-09.75") and
Trent Hamerski in the long jump (21'-03.50").
Palmquist and Have teamed up with freshmen
Max Baker and
Isaac Chambers to prevail in the 4 x 400-meter relay in a time of 3:33.00 while Kluver, freshmen
Jack Larson and
Luke Gustafson and junior
Noah Torvik placed first in the distance medley relay (10:48.79).
Up next for the Bulldogs is the Bemidji State University Open on Jan. 25.
