Scott Sandelin and five of his Bulldogs are finalists for nine National Collegiate Hockey Conference post-season awards for the 2019-20 season.
The five Bulldogs include junior
Scott Perunovich (Player of the Year, Offensive Defenseman), sophomore
Noah Cates (Forward of the Year), junior
Justin Richards (Defensive Forward of the Year), senior
Hunter Shepard (Goaltender of the Year) and senior
Nick Wolff (Defensive Defenseman of the Year).
Sandelin is a finalist for the Herb Brooks Coach of the Year award for the fourth season in a row.
The winners of all the major NCHC awards, which also includes the Three Stars Award, Sportsmanship Award, Media Excellence Award and the Postgrad Scholarship, will be announced throughout next week.
