The University of Minnesota Duluth occupied the No. 5 spot in the final 2019-20 USCHO.com Poll, which was released today.

Cornell University maintained the top position for the fourth consecutive time, garnering 25 first-place votes and 954 points. The Big Red was followed by the University of North Dakota (16 first-place votes and 943 points), Minnesota State University-Mankato (six first-place votes and 926 pts.), Boston College (two first-place votes and 826 pts.), UMD (the remaining first-place vote and 811 pts.), the University of Denver (739 pts.), Clarkson University (684 pts.), Penn State University (649 pts.), the University of Massachusetts (619 pts.) and the Ohio State University (537 pts.)

The Bulldogs, who closed out their 76th season of intercollegiate hockey riding a a five-game winning streak and having won nine of their final 10 assignments, joined North Dakota (No. 2), Denver (No. 6) and Western Michigan University (No. 16) as the four National Collegiate Hockey Conference clubs to make the final USCHO.com Poll. St. Cloud State University, meanwhile, received votes.

UMD has cracked every USCHO.com Top 20 Poll since March 7, 2016.
