The University of Minnesota Duluth athletic department has announced schedule changes for the upcoming 2020-21 schedules for UMD volleyball, football, and soccer. Schedules for the upcoming year can be found on www.umdbulldogs.com as well as clicking on the links below.Â
The schedule changes are due to the NCAA Division II Presidents Council announcement in May that reduces the maximum number of contests and dates of competition for the 2020-21 academic year as a result of COVID-19. If, for any reason, any portion of the 2020-21 home schedules do not take place, ticket holders who purchased tickets directly through the UMD Athletic Ticket Office will have the option to donate their ticket purchase, receive a refund for the canceled game(s), or have a credit toward a future ticket purchase (Bulldog Ticket Assurance Plan). The UMD Ticket Office will communicate and process transactions at the conclusion of each sport season.Â
The updated NSIC schedules will feature conference opponents only with the football schedule shortened to 10 games, the soccer schedule to 14 games, and the volleyball schedule to 20 matches.
"We continue to do our diligence in planning and are hopeful to get back to competition this fall and look forward to competing for championships again soon," said UMD Athletic Director Josh Berlo. "In addition, we are prepared to adapt as needed to the ever changing nature of COVID, with health and safety as our top priority."
Please continue to check all upcoming schedules for future changes and adjustments. Season ticket renewal information can be found here. For more information visit to www.umdbulldogs.com/tickets.
