Yes you read that headline correctly, it will be early Sunday morning when the Bulldogs take the field for the first time in the 2021 season, inside U.S. Bank Stadium against the Northern State Wolves. 

Game one gets underway at 12:00 AM and the second game of the night will begin at 2:30 AM.

For UMD it has been over a calendar year since seeing live action and although this one has an interesting start time the mood from the team could not be better. "Last year to have the season taken away from us was really tough, we thought we had something special brewing last year and we definitely plan on building on that this season. All the guys are really committed to doing whatever it takes to play as many games as possible this season" said senior captain Henry George.  "After last seasons cancellation we are all ready to get going again" said senior captain Mitchell Waletzki.

UMD will kick off conference play next weekend as they square off at Concordia St. Paul on Mar. 20 and 21.
