Things look to be slowly heading back to normal.  The National Collegiate Hockey Conference unveiled the 2021-22 conference schedule, and the University of Minnesota Duluth has some hard hitting opponents right away.

The Bulldogs will start their NCHC play on the road in the always tough to play, Lawson Arena, taking on Western Michigan (Nov. 5-6) before coming home to Duluth, MN to take on Colorado College (Nov. 12-13).  UMD will head to Grand Forks, ND (in a rematch of the 5OT thriller from the NCAA regionals this past March) to face the University of North Dakota to close out its Nov. conference play.

There will be one conference series for the Bulldogs in December.  UMD will host the University of Denver on the Dec. 10-11.  After the new year (Jan.) will see the Bulldogs travel to St. Cloud State (Jan. 7-8) before coming home to close out the first half of NCHC play with Miami University (Jan. 14-15).  The second half will open on the road with Omaha (Jan. 21-22).  UMD will host WMU the following weekend (Jan. 28-29), head to DU (Feb. 11-12), host UND (Feb. 18-19), travel to MU (Feb. 25-26) and close out conference play hosting SCSU (Mar. 4-5).

The NCHC Quarterfinals (Mar. 11-13) will take place at top seeds in a three-game series to determine who goes to the NCHC Frozen Faceoff.  The Frozen Faceoff will take place in the XCEL Energy Center on Mar. 18-19.
