Duluth, Minn – The Bulldogs finished off a streak of 3 straight home games with a matchup against the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles. The Bulldogs were able to bounce back after two tough loses to defeat the Golden Eagles (25-16, 25-9, 25-18).
UMD started the first set hot winning the first 4 points to get a early 4-0 advantage. Despite the hot start, the Golden Eagles would still hang around. After a Minnesota Crookston timeout, the Bulldogs would be able to increase their lead to 18-9. The Golden Eagles would call another timeout, but it would be too late as the Bulldogs were able to close out the Golden Eagles 25-16.
The Bulldogs would continue their momentum into the second set. After getting to a 4-3 lead, the Bulldogs would show their strength and would go on to score the next 9 of 11 points for a 13-5 lead. After a couple of Golden Eagle points, the Bulldogs would go on an impressive 10-point streak to close out the second set 25-9.
The third would prove to be the toughest set of the night for the Bulldogs. The teams would battle and trade points throughout the first half of the set to a 14-14 tie. From there, UMD would go on a 6-point steak to gain a commanding 20-14 lead. The Bulldogs would not stop there however as they would go on to close out the Golden Eagles to win the third set 25-18, for a 3-0 victory.

Grace Daak added 8 blocks for UMD. Redshirt-Junior
Madison Gordon added 34 assists for the Bulldogs while Senior
Sydney Lanoue added 14 digs.
The Golden Eagles were led by Charlee Krieg who had 6 kills. Natalie Koke added 16 assists while Lauren Wallace added 8 digs for Minnesota Crookston.
