The Bulldogs are looking forward to an action packed weekend of men's and women's hockey at AMSOIL Arena and men's and women's basketball in Romano Gymnasium (click here for a schedule of events). UMD athletics would like to remind all fans of the new temporary COVID-19 restrictions that will be in place for games starting this weekend (all fans ages five (5) and older attending University of Minnesota events (including those held in Duluth) will either need to provide proof of a completed vaccination series against COVID-19 or proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken under medical supervision within 72 hours of entry). This temporary policy will run from January 26th through February 9th. 

Our fans' safety and their gameday experience remain paramount, and the Bulldogs will work closely with campus groups as well as the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center (DECC) to make the process as smooth as possible for our fans. Vaccination/negative test checkpoints will be implemented in the main lobby outside of Romano Gymnasium and at three locations in AMSOIL Arena (lower level entrance below the AMSOIL Arena ticket lobby, skywalk entrance into AMSOIL Arena ticket lobby, and the main DECC ticket lobby). The Bulldogs will also be opening doors to events this weekend earlier to assist in the flow of traffic. To see a list of frequently asked questions and for more information click here. 

Fans can also expect a number of new items when arriving for the game at AMSOIL Arena for Bulldog hockey. The DECC Concessions is trotting out some of their fan favorites like hand-dipped Fraboni corndogs. They're savory in the middle and sweet and crunchy on the outside served hot with a peppery raspberry jam. The DECC staff also conducted in-depth research to create poutine that was good enough for Bulldog fans. The crew went through brutal taste testing of fries that were robust enough to be topped with all those cheese curds and gravy. Fans will also see Grilled Cheese and soup are back on the menu with the beloved Little Dippers. And don't forget the new and improved Super Nachos with chunks of porchetta on chips freshly made IN HOUSE! There will also be a fun vegetarian option in a new Mexican Street Corn full of flavor to keep you warm while watching hockey. Come early and enjoy a concourse dinner with local beer, hot chocolate and coffee.
 
All UMD athletic event season ticket holders and purchasers who purchased tickets through UMD, can refer to the Bulldog Ticket Assurance plan for additional COVID-19 questions. Bulldog Athletics Ticket Assurance Plan – Season ticket holders and ticket purchasers who have purchased tickets directly through the UMD Ticket Office will have the option to receive a refund, have a credit towards a future ticket purchase, or donate the amount of their ticket purchase to UMD athletics.
