UMD Bulldogs "ALLETE" Moments: Classroom
Throughout this year, UMD Athletics is partnering with Minnesota Power, ALLETE to highlight the Bulldogs accomplishments in the 3 C's: Classroom, Competition, Community.
The University of Minnesota Duluth has eight Bulldogs honored in the 2022 CoSIDA Academic All-District Football team, as announced on Tuesday afternoon. The eight Bulldogs include
Ethan Beffert,
Curtis Cox,
Logan Eiden,
Justin Hull, Jonathan Jensen,
Arik Johnson,
Caden Osmonson, and
Sam Pitz.
The eight Bulldogs named will move on to consideration for the Academic All-America Team for the NCAA II. To receive the honors players must have a GPA of 3.50 or above and be a starter or important reserve. These are awarded by CoSIDA to the most accomplished student-athletes for academic and athletic achievement each year since 1952
The last UMD player to receive an All-District honors was Dan Monson in 2021. Monson was then named to the 2021 Academic All-America team.
