UMD Bulldogs "ALLETE" Moments: Competition
Throughout this year, UMD Athletics is partnering with Minnesota Power, ALLETE to highlight the Bulldogs accomplishments in the 3 C's: Classroom, Competition, Community. 
 
Duluth, Minn. – UMD's sophomore Austin Andrews was named to the District 7 Acadmemic All-District Team. 

Andrews has had a monster year so far, as he has accumulated 5 North Division Player of the Week awards this season. Andrews also sits at 2nd in the conference in scoring as he is averaging 19.1 points per game. He is also 2nd in the NSIC in rebounds per game with 9.6 rebounds per game. Andrews is tied for the most 20-point games this season in the NSIC (13), and also has the 2nd most double-doubles (13) in the NSIC this season. 

Off of the court, Andrews has been just as stellar. The sophomore forward currently is enrolled in the Pre-Civil Engineering major at UMD and currently has a 3.89 GPA.
